The Studio is located at 1404A Beacon Street in Brookline’s
Coolidge Corner. It is easily accessible via car or public transportation,
located directly on the C Line of the MBTA between Coolidge Corner and Summit
Avenue, and steps from the Harvard Ave. stop on the #66 bus route. There is
also ample on-street metered parking, as well as nearby public parking lots.
Nearby shops, convenience stores, and cafes allow our students to run errands,
get coffee or a bite to eat, or chat with each other before or after class.
You can easily pre-register online by clicking the Mindbody link on our homepage. Through this link, you can also read class descriptions, instructors' bios, as well as make online purchases. Walk-ins are welcome for all of
our pre-scheduled weekly classes. We do recommend that you arrive 10 to 15
minutes early in order to sign in, change your clothes and shoes, and prepare
for a great class. For the safety of all dancers, late arrivals will not be
allowed into class after 10 minutes have passed.
Do you offer private classes or workshops?
Yes. We can arrange personalized classes just for you or a group of your friends, whether as a jump-start or refresher class, focusing on anything from technique, turns, and jumps, to stretches, coordination, or choreography. Special group discounts available.
How much do classes cost?
The rate for regularly scheduled drop-in classes is $15 ($13 for students with a valid I.D.) Special deals and
offers vary by month, so check for updates and announcements. For more information on dates, times, pricing,
and availability for private lessons, master classes, and workshops, please contact us.
Do you offer package deals?
Yes. We offer 10-class cards for $130 ($120 for
students with a valid I.D.) which may be used for all
drop-in classes, including Ballet, Lyrical, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Tap, Zumba, Belly Dance, Yoga, and our Dance Fitness classes.
What should I wear?
We encourage you to wear comfortable clothes so that you can move freely. Standard dance attire or close-fitting clothing like yoga or exercise attire work well. We also recommend dressing in layers, so that your muscles will be warm enough, but you won’t be too hot. It is a good idea to avoid overly baggy clothes so that you and your instructor can see your body well enough to ensure proper alignment in all positions.
Footwear options vary by class and include ballet slippers, jazz shoes or dance sneakers, tap shoes, or gym sneakers that you do not wear outdoors. Through a partnership with Teddy Shoes (Central Square), we now carry a select assortment of shoe sizes and styles for men and women, including ballet slippers, jazz shoes and sneakers, tap shoes, and more. Socks alone can be too slippery and therefore unsafe. In order to protect our dance floor, street shoes may not be worn in the main dance studio at any time. Please contact Sue with any questions you may have.
What if I cannot make it to an appointment or an event that I
pre-registered for?
We request that you notify us 24
hours prior to your class or workshop. Late cancellations or no-shows will be
billed to your credit card on file.
